Pinkplot Productions was founded in 1995 when Writer/Director Roland Tec made his first short film, Hooking Up which went on to tour dozens of festivals worldwide. After the international success of his short, Tec wrote and directed the feature film, All the Rage, which was described by the Los Angeles Times as "one of the sharpest, sexiest and most amusing satires of gay life ever filmed" and is widely considered a hallmark of gay independent cinema.
As he did with All the Rage, Tec often draws from his own work for the stage in developing projects for the screen.
The Wreck Behind Us, based on the true story of the sudden death of an actress on the cusp of stardom, first premiered in a tiny Greenwich Village cabaret and is now in development as a feature film.
